BSIS Firearm Course
16 Hours
This course meets the requirements of the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services for Security Guards, Private Investigators, and Alarm Agents to carry a firearm while on duty. BSIS requalification class available also.

Introduction to Handguns
4 Hours
This course covers gun safety, handgun functions, and practical shooting.  There are women only classes available and also private classes for law enforcement officer’s spouses.

2-4 Hours
By appointment only.  This course is designed to teach every family member gun safety and how to safely handle every gun in the household.  Note: Age appropriate for each gun will be determined by the instructor.

This is a California Department of Justice approved course designed for gun dealers and their employees who wish to become a handgun safety instructor.

Civilian Basic Firearm Course
16 Hours
This course is designed for civilians who want a CCW Permit and/or formal and professional firearms training.  The class covers firearm safety, laws pertaining to the permissible use of a firearm, first aid, handgun & cartridge nomenclature and range training, etc.  Requirements: You must be at least 18 yrs., have a handgun, 150 rounds of ammunition, eye & ear protection.

4 Hours
This course meets the requirements of Department of Justice, Kings and Tulare Counties for CCW permits.  These classes are held at the College of the Sequoias in Visalia and at the Porterville Veterans Memorial Building in Porterville every month.
